Welcome

I read my first romance novel at the age of thirteen, having purloined it from the basement bookshelf of a friend of the family. (My belated apologies to the daughter of the house, whose book it was.) At that point, Gilbert Blythe and Anne Shirley still fed my most feverish romantic fantasies, so Christopher Saxon (alias Captain Saber, dashing Caribbean privateer and general rapscallion) and that flame-haired hoyden Nicole Ashford gave me quite a turn.

A delicious and rather eye-opening turn, I hasten to add.

Of course, the genre has come a long way since the days of eighteen-year-old cabin girls and their buccaneer boyfriends (though one can still hope!), but I'm deeply honored to stand on such magnificent shoulders as I launch my own debut trilogy into the wide world of romance. I hope you enjoy exploring this website and learning about my books, and I look forward to hearing from you!

(In the meantime, I recommend Shirlee Busbee's immortal Lady Vixen for those eighteen years of age and older.)
